The National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA) is the leading national organization focused exclusively on the fight against health care fraud. Founded in 1985 by several private health insurers and federal and state government officials, NHCAA is a private-public partnership. Members include more than 100 private health insurers, as well as the law enforcement and regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over the health care fraud committed against private payers and public programs.
