Wilton R. Miller, Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Miller is currently the senior partner in the firm of Bryant Miller Olive P.A., which serves as bond counsel for the State of Florida, as well as many city and county commissions throughout
the state. The firm has also represented most major underwriters in the nation as underwriter's counsel. The relationship between the firm and local political leaders often proves invaluable to clients on matters of statewide interest, including ones before the Legislature and the Cabinet.
Mr. Miller has represented Florida Power & Light Company in many capacities for more than 20 years. Currently, his primary representation is in the areas of territorial disputes and agreements, matters before the Governor and Cabinet, and all other legislative matters. He is also familiar with Public Service Commission regulatory activities and understands the regulatory requirements of a public utility company that is responsible to agencies such as the Florida Cabinet, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Revenue.
Mr. Miller has served as a member of our Board of Directors since our founding and provides valuable guidance in corporate and business development matters.
Charles D. Moseley, Director
Mr. Moseley is the founding General Partner of Noro-Moseley Partners, a venture capital organization based in Atlanta. Since its inception in 1983, Noro-Moseley has managed approximately $600 million in venture capital, and its Limited Partners include U.S. and European institutional and individual investors. Noro-Moseley has invested in more than 130 companies, a majority of which are in the information and medical technology industries. Most of these companies have their headquarters in the southern region of the U.S. Prior to forming Noro-Moseley, Mr. Moseley was Senior Vice President and a Director of the Robinson-Humphrey Company. He was responsible for the company’s corporate investment banking business, including underwriting of securities, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Moseley has served as a Director of LearnSomething since May 2000.
Kenneth G. Fish, Director
Mr. Fish has been an active entrepreneur in North Florida for more than 20 years. In the 1980s he started Panhandle Tire Distributors, a wholesale tire business, and City Tire and Auto Center, a retail center. Among other personal pursuits, Mr. Fish is involved with several real estate ventures and works with his wife of 15 years, Kim Fish, at Taylor's Building Supply in Eastpoint and Tallahassee, Florida.
Mr. Fish is a founding Board member of the Bank of Tallahassee, and past Chairman for the Stavros Center for Economic Education. One of his greatest passions is Florida State football. He is a Golden Chief for Florida State Seminole Boosters and attends as many games as possible to support his team.
Mr. Hodge currently owns JWH Strategic Investments, LLC, an investment banking firm located in Gainesville, Georgia. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Hodge served as a partner with Genesis Investment Partners, an Atlanta-based group investing in early stage companies located primarily in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Hodge was a partner at Liberty Street Capital, an investment banking firm providing a variety of services to emerging private companies in Nashville, Los Angeles, Houston, and the Atlanta area.
Mr. Hodge has served as a member of our Board of Directors since 2002.
David O’Neil, Director
Mr. O’Neil has more than 18 years of experience developing category management processes and training programs for retailers and manufacturers in the consumer products industry. His expertise has enabled clients to change organizational behaviors and processes to sustain enterprise-wide category management capabilities. He has also helped MIS departments design strategy, evaluate software, and develop their category management information systems.
Prior to founding Delta Associates, Inc. in 1995, Mr. O’Neil’s experiences were in sales and as a business analyst. Since 1989, he has been directly involved with category management as a consultant and national manager of strategic development and space management. He also served as a member of two re-engineering teams for a major consumer products company.
Kirk Mauro, MD, Director
Dr. Mauro, M.D., received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed an internal medicine internship and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Mauro is currently a board certified Physiatrist and is Director of Medical Rehabilitation Specialists. His practice primarily focuses on neuro-muscular disorders and frequently results in testimony as a medical expert. He performs lectures and educational seminars for local law, medical, and pharmacy students.
Dr. Mauro currently serves as General Partner and Chairman of Rosewinds Investments and as Director for the Bank of Tallahassee. He has private investment experience in land development, bio-tech companies, and dot com companies.
Dr. Mauro is excited and enthusiastic to serve on our Board of Directors. His medical and business experience will provide a unique perspective as we expand our pharmacy, medical and retail initiatives.
Steven L. Roden, CEO, Director
Mr. Roden is responsible for increasing revenues at LearnSomething by more than 100 percent in the past two years, including a fifth round of growth funding and capitalization. Most recently, he led the company in the development of “Prepare to Serve™,” a product knowledge and solutions selling application for the retail marketplace. He brings two decades of experience in the learning business to LearnSomething.
Prior to joining LearnSomething, Mr. Roden spent three years as a partner at Arthur Anderson, managing the company’s world-wide, eLearning consulting practice. His earlier professional experience included launching two successful start-up companies – a successful technology incubation company, which he sold to Rupert Murdoch’s Newscorp; and Comsell Training, Inc., one of the learning technology companies rated highest for customer satisfaction, which he successfully sold to another publicly traded firm.
Mr. Roden holds a B.S. and an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Florida State University.
Representing management for the Company, Mr. Roden has served as a member of our Board of Directors since 2003.
Richard A. Fuelling, COO, Director
A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business Administration, Mr. Fuelling has more than 20 years of consulting and sales management experience. His extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and health care industries includes business development, mergers and acquisitions, technology planning, and financial business analysis. He has a strong background in technology and software start-ups, building sales and marketing organizations, and revitalizing corporations through turn-around strategies.
Mr. Fuelling has worked in both public and private sector corporations and served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Coastal Physician Group. He also owned several consulting businesses, as well as a community pharmacy business. As LearnSomething’s industry representative, Mr. Fuelling is an Associate Member of the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) and a member of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Pharmacy Conference Planning Committee, the National Council of Prescription Drug Plans (NCPDP), the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), and the National Pharmacy Technician Association (NPTA).
Representing management for the Company, Mr. Fuelling has served as a member of our Board of Directors since 2005.
