A. P. “Skip” Aldridge
Skip Aldridge is President and CEO at Head of Sales Consulting in Palm Beach, FL. Skip received his B.A. in Political Science and History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Establishing a career in sales management at Scott Paper, The Clorox Company, and Pet, Inc., he became Vice President of Sales for Del Monte Foods in 1995. In 2001, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales for ConAgra Foods, and then spent eight years as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Pharmavite LLC. Today, his consulting firm provides a full scope of services and expertise that would typically be provided by the "head of sales" for a consumer packaged goods company, hence the company’s name.
Terry Burnside has had a distinguished management career in grocery and health care, recently retiring as President of Medicine Shoppe International (and its owner, Cardinal Health). He led the company’s strategic plan development, and then recruited a highly talented management team to execute the plan and restore franchisee trust and confidence in the system. His responsibilities later expanded to include oversight of Managed Healthcare.
Prior to his tenure at Medicine Shoppe International, Terry served Longs Drugs in a number of Marketing and Store Operations positions, including General Merchandise Manager, Vice President-Merchandising, Senior Vice President-Marketing, and Chief Operating Officer. His responsibilities as COO included all Marketing/Merchandising/Advertising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Asset Protection, and Store Maintenance/Construction.
After graduating from the University of Southern California in 1971 with a B.S. in Marketing, Terry began his managerial ascent with a 14-year career at Alpha Beta that included positions ranging from Store Manager to Director of Marketing of the Northern California Division.
Dave Fong is President of Dave Fong Rx Consulting Inc., specializing in pharmacy strategic organizational leadership and planning, retail operations, compliance, and other regulatory issues. He also serves as Executive Director of United Pharmacists Network, based in Glendale, CA. David graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in economics and earned a Pharm.D. from the University of California, San Francisco. Dave’s career spans over 30 years, and has included senior pharmacy management positions with Longs Drug Stores, a Fortune 500 company, and Safeway Inc, a Fortune 100 company. With Safeway, he served as the Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager of Pharmacy, overseeing the pharmacy operations and health and wellness services in the U.S. and Canada.
Dave has been recognized and awarded the Pharmacy Executive of the Year for Chain Drug Stores by Drug Store News and been distinguished by another major publication as one of five National Retail Pharmacy Executives “that have made a difference.”
Phil Keough is Chief Operating Officer at Millennium Pharmacy Systems – a privately held company in the Hospital and Health Care industry, located in the Greater Pittsburgh area. He attained his B.S. in Pharmacy from Auburn University. Entering private industry, he became Director of Pharmacy Operations at CVS. In 2002, he became Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Operations for Rite Aid Corporation. Some years later, he founded Keoco, a management consulting firm that specializes in retail operations and management, with a focus in the pharmacy industry. Under that banner, Phil took the position of Chief Strategy Officer at FlavoRx, a pharmaceuticals company, serving as an advisor to the executive management team.
David O’Neil, a principal of Delta Associates, Inc., leads the development and implementation of category management processes and organizational change, as well as the creation of retailer/supplier merchandising operating procedures, guidelines, and business process flows. David is an instructor of training workshops that focus on improving the effectiveness of salespeople, marketers, business analysts, and buyers/category managers. David’s firm has worked with thousands of CPG professionals representing more than 400 manufacturers and retailers spanning more than 50 countries, representing industries as diverse as grocery, drug, mass merchant, home improvement, office supply, automotive, and apparel.
Prior to founding Delta Associates, Inc. in 1995, David’s experiences were in sales and as a business analyst. Since 1989, he has been directly involved with category management as a consultant and national manager of strategic development and space management. He also served as a member of two re-engineering teams for a major consumer products company. David also serves as a Director on the LearnSomething Board.
Mark Valesano is President of Breakthrough Business Innovation LLC, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. A graduate of the University of Illinois College Of Pharmacy, Mark has served in high-level operations and management positions for many firms in the retail industry, including Jewel-Osco, Acme Markets, and Wegmans Food Markets. At Wegmans, Mark became Senior Vice President of Pharmacy, Health, Beauty and Cosmetics, established the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, delivered the first “Centralized Pharmacy Environment,” and launched a “Knowledge Based” selling culture within Health, Wellness, and Beauty. As Executive Vice President of Pharmacy at Shoppers Drug Mart, Mark established the Sanis and Health Solutions/Pharmacy Benefits Manager programs.
In his current capacity as President at Breakthrough Business Innovation, Mark focuses on helping entrepreneurs grow their business and brand by creating a superior customer experience that leverages the latest advances in digital media and mobile technology.
