Application Support Specialist II
Responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd tier application support to administrators and end-users of online learning sites. A qualified applicant has prior experience in a software support role; can demonstrate proficiency with HTML and Transact-SQL; and, possesses a good understanding of networking concepts. Inside Sales
Job Summary: Inside Sales Position available in the LearnSomething Tallahassee Home Office. Exclusively serving the Food, Drug & Professional Association business marketplace, LearnSomething is the oldest and largest e-learning service provider possessing the most robust reseller network in the industry, which includes all 50 US states and the United Kingdom. LearnSomething develops over 250 seat hours of online courseware annually and supports over 100 associations and nearly 80% of all chain pharmacy and retail grocery corporations in the delivery of e-learning products. LearnSomething is an ACPE accredited provider of continuing education and delivers over 350,000 training events annually. Due to our tremendous growth, we are seeking an inside sales professional to help grow our existing client base. Responsibilities: The Inside Sales position will be responsible for the following:

• Providing outstanding customer service and support to existing client base;
• Retaining and increasing revenue of existing accounts;
• Maintaining (and exceeding) assigned revenue and sales quotas as set by the Sales Manager;
• Preparing and delivering effective sales presentations via phone;
• Preparing administrative sales reports (proposals, presentations, general sales activity);
• Processing bulk purchase agreements, contracts and e-commerce transactions;
• Observing the high quality of LearnSomething ethical standards in presentations, proposals, and overall representation of the company, including professional image and appearance.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Effective knowledge of e-learning, learning management applications, the association industry marketplace, and the Internet.
• Effective sales presentation skills via the telephone;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Effective at uncovering sales opportunities from existing customers;
• Versatile in selling / closing at all organizational levels;
• Energetic, compelling, and professional sales presence via the telephone;
• High level of personal motivation; ability to work with little supervision;
• 2 to 5 years of excellent business-to-business customer service experience or sales experience with an e-learning, association applications or technical product company. (Persons with excellent sales experience with intangible or solutions-based products /services may also be considered);

Preference will be given to college graduates with a business or technical degree.

E-Learning Writers

E-learning Writers skilled in writing instructionally sound, engaging, and innovative web-based training script/storyboards from content provided by Project Managers.

Responsibilities: Understand target audiences; write clear, precise, creative, engaging, and elegant web-based courses; effectively collaborate with Project Manager/Instructional Designers, subject matter experts, project teams, and clients; and communicate effectively with project teams to ensure goals and objectives are being met.

Preferred Qualifications: 1 – 3 years experience, Degree in English or Journalism; one to three years of WBT writing experience; excellent organizational skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to manage and meet deadlines; and be a team player.

Technical Program Manager
Provides leadership and direction in the strategic planning and operation of the company’s information systems. Responsible for establishing and meeting goals and objectives related to system design, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and project management. Managing team resource assignments across projects according to requirements, schedule, and budget. Problem solving of issues, including identification, resolution, documentation, and communication.

• Experience leading web application development projects on Microsoft .NET
• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
• Initiative, ability, and desire to guide a cross-functional, geographically disparate team
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 200X Server, MS SQL Server, and MS.NET
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML-based Web services and SOAP, AICC and SCORM standards a plus

Some travel and occasional weekend and evening hours are required.

SENIOR WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Plans, designs, modifies, develops and implements web-based applications requiring in-depth knowledge of operating procedures and information technology capability. Develops software requirements and specifications. Works with customers and the sales/marketing group to design and develop software for specific customer needs. Participates in the complete software development cycle from requirements analysis through deployment.

• Strong communication skills and constructive interaction with team members.
• Must be proficient in C#, VB, ASP.NET, T-SQL, and JavaScript.
• Must produce excellent code for high traffic web sites in ASP, .NET 1.1 and 2.0.
• Pluses: XML/XSL, NUnit testing, relational database design, Flash and ActionScript.
